| Finally I took pictures of the opinion pieces the children wrote. They researched an insect, gave an opinion about it, and stated reasons for those opinions. Then they illustrated it with a water color. It was a great writing activity. |

| For our science unit we ordered life cycles of the butterfly. |

I was amazed by the creativity and work that went into the book report projects. Each student presented their project to the class and it was displayed in the hallway. They worked so hard on them, I wanted you to be able to enjoy them.  |

| Mrs. Kelkenberg told us all about the barn animals, especially the cow. They make all of their dairy foods (butter, yogurt, cream, etc.) from the milk of their cow. |
